Totally agree Tim , the appointment of the head coach should be made by the DoF . So if all rumours are to be beleived his choice and Nobles isn't Loppy , so our DoF should be walking I should imagine , but then again Loppy's appointment is just rumour for now :? .

It may be incredibly naive of me but I hope that if Steidten was told at interview he would be responsible for the appointment of the new manager and, when it came to the crunch he found he wasn't, he would have the integrity to walk away.

Of course he may not have been told that was part of his brief which is another matter entirelyt. But it would be nice to know these things.

I think we should reserve judgment until the end of the season tbh. After all we could have quite a few new faces to bed in.

You must have faith my good man. According to the click bait-o-sphere the great Timmy (praised be his name) is casting his net far and wide in his search for the next Lionel Messi. I just hope the next great Euro hopeful turns out better than the last one.

Savio Nsereko. Remember him ?

It was supposed to be official on Thursday. Today is Thursday.

Meanwhile, Avram Grant was spotted in Heathrow arrivals this morning eating a bagel.
