I’m not sure anyone expected to be in this situation again with a transfer window not that far away.
Just like the start of the summer transfer window we are desperate to bolster our squad again , this time due to injuries and players just not performing.
I have seen written that we need to sell a few players to be able to buy. But look at the squad, we can’t afford for players to go until players are brought in first.
Perhaps we need to borrow against all the new seats!
The 1st Team squad as listed on the West Ham website is 27 players.

-There is a good argument in letting Adrian go and bring in Trott as the back up for Fabianski.

I have moved Rice to Midfielders.
With Fredericks and Reid out injured then we are left with 7 defenders. 3 full backs and 4 centre backs.
We are only 1 or 2 more injuries away from playing midfielders in defence or youth players.
Zabaleta who is looking like he is going to retire at the end of the season is our only fit right back
If he gets injured this week, who goes in at right back?
A left back?
Oxford?

I don’t think we can afford to look at the left back situation why there are so many gaps in the squad unless we can get good money for either of our left backs and have a new one lined up.

Hopefully our new transfer team have already arranged a few players to come in as soon as the window opens.
Quite a lot of people have written that we do not have any money left but at the same time we cannot afford not to bring in a few players.
Otherwise a poor season so far could turn into a real disaster with a couple more injuries.
