Be honest, who on earth saw a performance of that magnitude coming. Fair play to them, they weathered the early pressure and then bossed the game. They were fantastic to man.
My only complaint is that I am not drinking at the moment, so will have to continue that through the Semi's at least.
Am I right in thinking that alongside Frankfurt we are the only teams remaining that started in this tournament?
It is notable that someone, who shall remain unnamed has gone awfully quiet. Cue the thread stating just how lucky we were and how Frankfurt will slaughter us.

Fuck me sideways and call me Veronica. I did not see that coming. Because I thought the poor cunts were running on empty.. But it's fucking amazing what a goal does. The cheating French cunts did the usual and surrendered.

EVERYONE was massive. Van Dawson now a cult hero. Watford reserves to a European semi final......Roy of the Rovers stuff.
But amongst the euphoria I'm sad to say there was a casualty. After Jim's goal went in, Gertrude the guinea pig sadly split in my moment of sexual frenzy. She'll be buried with honours tomorrow.
I think I would of preferred the Spaniards to the Germans
So do I as Barcelona still a bit shaky than Eintracht Frankfurt.
Frankfurt have saved me a bloody fortune. My youngest grandson and his sister are Barcelona mad and I told them when Barca dropped into the Europa league that if they played West Ham I'd take them to the game. Tbh I thought it was a given that Barca would beat Frankfurt. They were the form team in Europe until tonight.
Frankfurt won't be easy but it will be a bloody good trip with some excellent drinking establishments in the city. I worked there and in Dusseldorf many years back so it will be nice to revisit some old haunts.
But now the hotel bar is still open and it seems a shame not to take advantage of the facilities.
