This is my first of hopefully many pieces you will read of mine. I try to keep positive as we have enough negativity surrounding the club especially over the last few years.

The above pictures appear to have caused outrage amongst a section of supporters today, but if you ask me itā€™s nothing more than a storm in a teacup. I would like to make it clear I donā€™t see myself as either anti or pro board, I think of late they have made the club look ridiculous and twitter in particular has been a source of a lot of bad PR brought on by the board and the people around them. But I think the stick David SullivanĀ has received in relation to the fact that a loan repaid on the same day the Boleyn was sold is over the top and a bit one sided.

Being cynical you could say that form the time the loan was made to the club by David Sullivan he had his eyes on selling the ground to get it repaid in full with interest back on top. But the loans were secured against the ground, you canā€™t have a loan secured against something that the club no longer own. It wasnā€™t solely him that had a loan secured against the ground was it? He wasnā€™t the only one who had to be repaid?

This is common place in businessā€™ the owners inject cash and are rewarded for doing so, as David Gold proudly pointed out the other day we pay some of the highest wages in the world. Which makes us look even more of a joke but thatā€™s an issue for another day.

In sum, this is another stick used to beat the board, they have done their fair share of things to be pulled on but calm down and use a bit of common sense because this massive over reaction from a section of the fans will only make us, the fans, the people that matter at a club, look stupid.

West Ham fan for as long as I can remember. I was flukey enough to watch The Irons beat Bury 10-0 in my first ever game . . . True to form, West Ham then went out and signed their central defender šŸ˜¬
