This morning West Ham United announced the appointment of our new manager Manuel Pellegrini on the official site with a video and routine pictures holding a club shirt.
Any eagle eyed viewer may of notice that shirt Pellegrini is posing with what looks like a new shirt, could this potential be the first glimpse of our new Home shirt? Of course it may be just of our new training tops.
There’s not many clues to indicate which shirt it is as we can only see the back, the shirt has a main claret body, the arms are mainly claret as well with a sky blue strip at the bottom of the arms with the Umbro logo embroidered. Just blew the neck there is the word “irons “with a thin blue strip around the back of the neck.
Everton released images of their home new kit (See below) which is also made my Umbro. Going by the images of their new home shirt, there are number of similarities in the design of shirt from the back. This may give us the best indicator on what the front of our new home shirt may look like.
