The Hammers are chasing Man U prodigy Amad Diallo according to numerous news reports. It is understood that West Ham would initially like to take the player on loan, but have not ruled out a permanent move.
The Red devils signed 20-year-old 2021 for £19m after he attracted interest following his performances for Atalanta. Born in the Ivory coast, Diallo and his family moved to Italy when he was a child.
The Ivorian was initially loaned out to Rangers in the SPL 18 months ago and played 13 games. However it was his loan move to Championship Sunderland last summer where he really stood out. Diallo featured in almost all of the North East sides fixtures and impressed with 14 goals.

It is understood that there are no plans for him to feature at Old Trafford next season. Erik ten Hag is believed to be an admirer of the player but is open to him leaving on loan.
Man U speedster can solve Hammers problem
Whilst Sunderland would dearly love retain Diallo, the player himself would like Premier League football. This has evidently alerted the Hammers who are in need on reinforcements in wide areas.
Despite spending £17 million on Maxwel Cornet, West Ham seem to be no closer to solving the lack of pace in the team. The Cornet transfer has ben a mess from start to finish. Manager David Moyes might have sanctioned the transfer but he no longer appears to trust the player.
