According to numerous reports this afternoon, West Ham United have made an inquiry with Stoke regarding their goalkeeper Jack Butland. So far we are aware that no offer has been made, just an inquiry regarding his availability.

Reports are also suggesting that Wolves have made an inquiry for the Stoke City goalkeeper. We believe Stoke value Butland at £30 million! Currently during Butland’s career he has made 77 premier league appearances, keeping 20 clean sheets.

Butland is currently away on England international duty and may be in the lineup to play in tonight’s friendly against Nigeria at Wembley. If Butland was to join West Ham, he would want assurance that he would be the number one choice for Pellegrini; causing doubt surrounding Adrian’s future at the club.

West Ham had a scout at Luxembourg v Senegal yesterday who was believed to be scouting Butland’s team mate and Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndaiye.
