We have got some tough fixtures coming up if you focus on who we have to play in certain games. But solely looking at the next three, Chelsea away, Stoke at home and Arsenal away. If we can take as a minimum 4 points I’d be happy with that.

It depends which version of us turn up in each game of course but there is no reason we can’t win each of these. Chelsea aren’t in a great place and now is as good a time as ever to play them, we’ve got a little confidence. We know that the fans will be up for it. Lanzini could be in contention to play which can only be a good thing, but if he doesn’t Fernandez will have a point to prove, it’s his chance to stake a real claim to having a big role to play for the remainder of this season. Although not the most noticeable I thought his impact against Southampton was crucial and I’m excited to see him feature for the remainder of the season.

Stoke is another Southampton situation, we need to win. Put some more distance between us and a team below us. Arnie will be right up for this once again after all the stick he got and he is that player that makes others up their game. 3 point here will mean that we have a bit of breathing room and it’s not a case of one slip and we are right back in it, hopefully anyway.

Arsenal I always fancy us against them, they are physically week. If they play football as they can then they will walk/dance around us as they have done many a time. But I just fancy us against them, they are vulnerable and everyone knows it. If we can perform well in the 2 before this we will have a lot of confidence, hopefully a few more players back from injury. Team knowing we are backing them 100%. The points are there for the taking.

Chelsea and Arsenal I think a point from either of them is the minimum requirement + the 3 against stoke is crucial. But I would be aiming for 5/6 points for those 3 and I think there is every chance we can get them if we turn up for all of these games. We will play a big role in the remainder no matter how much people scoff at it, we did make a difference against Southampton. 1st half we were all up for it, the atmosphere was full of excitement and nerves, most importantly we were loud and proud hammers. We got the job done in that half. Let’s keep it going till the end of the season.
