On Saturday West Ham entertain Palace at the London Stadium fresh from winning their last two games in which they found the net six times. Bad news for Pellegrini however as he will make do without Marko Arnautovic but it does present opportunities for Hernandez, Carroll and Perez.

West Ham are priced up with Ladbrokes (welcome offer here) at a very tasty 5/4 just to win on Saturday, Palace are priced at 11/5 and the draw at 9/4. Given our recent form and what appears to be a strange situation at Palace after their 3-1 loss to 10 man Brighton, in what we witnessed some awful defending, it seems a very good bet to get us started on today’s blog.

Hernandez scored twice at St James Park but failed to hit the net against Cardiff while not getting presented with too many chances but the Mexican’s body language when we scored seemed to suggest he is enjoying his football at present despite the rumours linking him away and this game gives him an opportunity to establish himself as the first choice striker in the absence of our Austrian. Chicharito is priced up at 13/8 to get on the scoresheet this weekend.

Anthony Taylor takes charge of this fixture and with 3.31 yellow cards per game this season, we should see a few names going into the book. West Ham sit top of the table for cards and Palace themselves pick up on average 2 cards when away from Selhurst Park.

I am the Scottish one in the videos, I idolise Liam Gallagher and enjoy maltesers. I will forever be convinced Mark Noble is a good player and will forever be convinced that Kouyate needs to play centre back. I once applied for The Apprentice and got told my plan was useless but at least it did not include a running track.
