SKY BT & the Impact

West Ham have two fixture changes upon the release of the televised games schedule covering August and September.

The Away game versus Aston Villa, previously fixed for 14th September, has been put back until Monday 16th with a kick off time of 8:00pm. The game will be shown live on Sky Sports.

Our Home fixture against Man United will be also be shown live on Sky Sports. That fixture has been rescheduled from the Saturday the 21st September to Sunday 22nd September with a kick off time of 2:00pm.

This brings our total games being rescheduled for TV to three with our opening day clash with Premier League Champions Man City being broadcast live on BT Sport at 12:30pm on Saturday 10th August.

Below is a list of anticipated dates of the TV schedule release dates:

August / September – 5/6th July

October / November – 6/7th August

December / January – 11/12th October

February – 11/12th December

March – 24th/25th January

April – 21st/22nd February

May – 4th/5th April

The above dates are worth noting prior to organising travel arrangements as again little or no consideration is given to the fan or the impact these re-fixes can have on them.  However, I doubt this is ever likely to change.

West Ham fan for as long as I can remember. I was flukey enough to watch The Irons beat Bury 10-0 in my first ever game . . . True to form, West Ham then went out and signed their central defender 😬

  1. I think you are right Tony, which means I am unable to pre book my trains in advance of the so called bigger games. It cost a fortune to travel but I do it for the love of the Hammers.

    1. Previously I have booked flights only for the game to be changed to a Monday evening which then isnt financially possible for me to attend and I just take the hit on the flights. Thats why I have the release dates so I wait until I know for definite no game will be changed for TV.
