From our best stats of the season against Burnley to not our worse but taking into account the opposition then stats lacking attacking prowess.

When comparing our stats to last weeks Burnley game.

The percentage of passes forward, back and square are very similar

The difference this week is where on the pitch the passes were being made.

Against Burnley we attempted 62% of our passes in the defence or middle third of the pitch and 38% in the attacking third.

Against Huddersfield we attempted 76% of our passes in the defence of middle third and 24% in the attacking third

 

Some views on individual stats

 

Zabaleta – Off day

Balbuena – Topped our defensive stats and highest number of passes for us.

Diop – 4 completed tackles, 39 completed passes

Cresswell – 5 Clearances, 36 completed passes, 9 recoveries

Rice – Our highest pass completion, 43 from 48 passes. 9 recoveries.

Diangana – Not much to show before being taken off. Pass completion good.

Obiang – Not Much, 27 completed passes from 34.

Anderson –2nd highest of our attacking stats including 12 completed passes in final third but not his best stats.

Snodgrass – Topped our attacking stats mainly due to 9 crosses put in, created 2 chances.

Arnautovic – 3 take ons, 12 passes in final third but again not his best stats.

Hernandez – 2 shots on target, low pass completion %
