West Ham will be searching for a fourth consecutive Premier League win when they travel to Craven Cottage this Saturday.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side come into the London derby off the back of a 3-2 win over Crystal Palace, while Premier League winner Claudio Ranieri’s Fulham suffered a 4-1 defeat at Old Trafford.

Fulham head into the match rock bottom of the Premier League table having gathered just nine points so far this season, conceding 40 goals during that period, while the Hammers are now 11th, just five points off sixth.

Pellegrini knows West Ham will have to be at their best if they are going to make it four wins in a row. He said: “It’s a difficult game and we must be very careful.

“We are improving and now we must keep these good results going.

“We are going after three more points, so I hope we do a good job and play a good game.”

Austrian striker Marko Arnautovic remains sidelined for the Hammers, as does Jack Wilshere. Manuel Lanzini, Winston Reid, Ryan Fredericks, Andriy Yarmolenko and Carlos Sanchez all remain long-term absentees.

Fulham will be without Maxime Le Marchand through injury, while midfielder Andre Anguissa misses out through suspension.

The hosts are still without a clean sheet this season, and with the Hammers scoring for fun, it could be a high-scoring affair.

However, the last time West Ham tasted victory at Craven Cottage was back in 2010, so it certainly makes for an interesting match-up.

West Ham fan for as long as I can remember. I was flukey enough to watch The Irons beat Bury 10-0 in my first ever game . . . True to form, West Ham then went out and signed their central defender 😬
