Manuel Pellegrini’s side will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in the Premier League for the first time since January 2017, as West Ham take a trip up north to The John Smith’s Stadium.

Huddersfield registered their first win of the season on Monday, grinding out an important 1-0 victory against fellow stragglers Fulham.

The Hammers will go into the weekend full of confidence, looking to build on their excellent 4-2 triumph over Burnley on Saturday.

After their victory, The Terriers moved up to 18th, while the visitors sit five places above them in 13th.

When the sides met last season, it was West Ham who got the better of David Wagner’s side, winning 2-0 at home before an emphatic 4-1 away victory.

Manuel Pellegrini is certainly aware of the importance of this match. He said: “It’s important because we need to recover points.

“At the start of the season it was so bad, we didn’t get any points.

“We must play a complete performance if we want to get the win.”

Team News

The home side will be without Eric Durm as he continues to recover from a groin strain, while Daniel Williams is out with a knee injury.

West Ham will be without Winston Reid, Manuel Lanzini, Andriy Yarmolenko, Andy Carroll, Carlos Sanchez and Jack Wilshere for the clash, who all remain long-term absentees.

Mark Noble will miss out, serving the last game of his three-match suspension.

Predicted Line-ups

My Bet

BTTS and over 2.5 goals.

Score Prediction

As for my prediction, I am going for 3-1 to West Ham. Arnautovic, Snodgrass and Obiang to score.

West Ham fan for as long as I can remember. I was flukey enough to watch The Irons beat Bury 10-0 in my first ever game . . . True to form, West Ham then went out and signed their central defender 😬
